CUSTOM PRODUCTS


Whether you need 1 or 1,000 Pulizzi Engineering can build a custom product
to fit your needs. Ranging from simple modifications of standard products to
complete custom units, we can build an AC distribution box to fit your needs.

There are three major steps in creating a customized product for you:

  1. Quote Process – A Sales Engineer will work directly with you to understand your needs.

  2. Ordering / Engineering – Once you place an order Engineers will begin working on
    designing your product and send you Drawings for your approval.

  3. Manufacturing – After approval of the drawing your custom product is release to
    manufacturing to build your product.
Custom Quote Process

> Step 1: Customer Requests Quote
> Step 2: Quote Generated and Sent to Customer
> Step 3: Review, Request Changes to Quote
> Step 4: Quote Approved by Customer and Part # Requested
> Step 5: A Part # is Assigned to Quoted Product


Custom Ordering / Engineering Process

> Step 1: Customer Places Order for Part #
> Step 2: Drawings are Generated and Sent to the Customer for Approval
> Step 3: Drawing Review, Request Changes, or Approve Drawings (Typically Takes 2 Weeks)
> Step 4: Approved drawings are Released to Manufacturing


Manufacturing

> Modified Units - 4 Weeks Total Build Time:
    > 2 Weeks Engineering Time (After Order is Placed)
    > 2 Weeks Manufacturing Time (After Drawings are Approved)
> Custom Units - 10 Weeks Total Build Time:
    > 2 Weeks Engineering Time (After order is placed)
    > 6 Weeks for Typical Long-Lead Time Items (After Drawing Approval)
    > 2 Weeks Manufacturing Time (After Materials Arrive)
